BetCasinoSport News

Bet-1 is a new book from owners of BetCasinoSport (SBR rating F) which closed with player account balances early last month. The scambook began offering huge 40% sign-up bonuses in December while slow-paying current players. Bet-1 is trying to attract victims with -105 reduced juice. Now that the scam has been identified it is likely Bet-1 will fold and create a new fly-by-night site to pursue player deposits.

BetCasinoSport (SBR rating F) closes with player funds

The sportsbook was in no-pay mode and refusing to communicate with players in December. SBR first issued a warning about the hit-and-run sportsbook in September. BCS has been aggressively emailing bonus offers since August.

Note: Bet33 (SBR rating F) owner, Robbie M., tells SBR that the IP address for BCS matches the site owned by a former programmer and was not affiliated with Bet33. Robbie previously owned Apex Sportsbook and refuses to offer a payment plan for Apex victims. Robbie argues his rating should be higher because there hasn’t been a no-pay in three years.

BetCasinoSport phones down, slow-pay

BetCasinoSport (SBR rating D-) phones down, players report slow-pay. Two months after the sportsbook was offering extremely high 40% cash bonuses up to $5,000, two players complain of Western Union no-pays totaling $1,000. Players also complain of not being able to reach the BCS staff. Both phone lines are down and email has not been returned.

Beware of BetCasinoSport (SBR rating D-)

The sportsbook is stepping up its email campaign with 40% cash bonus offers up to $5,000. Spreading the word of high bonuses instead of investing in advertising is usually a sign that the sportsbook does not have the funds to make an initial investment and is unlikely to have the financial backing to survive a long winning streak by players, who are already ahead with bonus cash. It is common for these sportsbooks to fail, disappear and attempt to take another shot with a new name and similar bonus offers. SBR has also learned that BetCasinoSport shares the same server IP address as the website which is operated by the owner of Bet33 (SBR rating F) and stiff sportsbook, Apex Sports (SBR rating F).

BetCasinoSport soliciting players through email marketing

New sportsbook BetCasinoSport (not rated) soliciting players through email list marketing. BetCasinoSport is telling bettors they have been online for three years when in fact the domain registration shows the website has been online for just over one month. Players should beware of the many inexperienced sportsbooks and out-right scams that arise at the start of football. These operations hope to capitalize on the deposit season and are often out of business or operating under a new book name before the end of the regular season. SBR to verify oficentro building #3 address in Costa Rica and request company information from management.

PlayWePay (SBR rating D+) bails on bailout deal

Last week the sportsbook paid a user his final payment totaling approximately 25% of his balance, refusing to pay the remainder. The player initially accepted a generous offer that PWP would cover his balance from defunct sportsbook, BetCasinoSports (SBR rating F). The only stipulation was a 7x rollover which was changed to 10x when the wagering requirement was nearly finished. The bettor went on to win $15,310 for a total of $28,080. PlayWePay has sent a total of only $6,885. The bettor states that he suffered further losses by accepting the PWP offer since he would have earned the winnings with a different sportsbook.

SBR Bill Dozer reports: PlayWePay (SBR rating D+)

not honoring ’BetCasinoSports bailout’ terms. The bettor received a free account balance as part of a bail-out package for BetCasinoSports (SBR rating F) users and went on to win an additional $15,310. PlayWePay has increased the rollover requirement and is limiting the amount the player will receive to $6,885. SBR has received multiple complaints from players with other sportsbooks who were offered “relief” after being a victim of a fallen book, only to see the ’rescuing’ sportsbook fail to pay. Sports-Gambling (SBR rating D) received positive press for coming to the rescue of SunsetSports (SBR rating F-) victims but later deleted winning accounts.

SBR Bill Dozer reports:

BetCasinoSports (SBR rating F-) has closed. The sportsbook is no longer putting up new odds and banking web pages are off-line.

SBR Bill Dozer reports:

SBR has confirmed that PlayWePay (not rated) has paid out $5,000 to a former BetCasinoSports (SBR rating F-) client, with more players close to meeting the seven time roll-over that was part of the”bailout” terms. During BCS’ short existence, players had not been able to withdraw more than a few hundred dollars at a time. BCS victims can find more information about PlayWePay’s offer here.

SBR Bill Dozer reports:

BetCasinoSports (SBR rating F-) players begin testing what appears to be a bailout offer from PlayWePay (not rated).SBR will continue to monitor the progress of these arrangements.
