Wagerweb Sportsbook addresses payout complaint
Wagerweb Sportsbook (SBR rating C+) has addressed a player payout dispute. The complaint was last reported on the SBR newswire October 14 when it was reported that the player had to take higher fee withdrawal options as his check payouts were delayed. Wagerweb has stated they will process one of the pending $3,000 requests next week.
The player's main argument was that he had six $3,000 check requests pending which came with a $50 fee per transaction; the time-frame for these payouts was listed as 4-6 weeks in the Wagerweb cashier, though the player has been waiting since May 29 for the earliest transaction. He has received a number of Person to Person transactions at an $80 fee a pop while waiting for the remainder of his balance to be paid through check.
In a similar complaint, a player who had a payout switched from check to P2P received three free withdrawals.
Sportsbook Review will update as the player confirms receiving his balance and has inquired on when the check processing time is expected to improve.
