Topbet Sportsbook Update & New Payment Issue
Update 10/2: Topbet management have addressed this complaint and provided the player an updated estimate on when he can expect to receive payment.
Sportsbook Review had a discussion with Topbet management regarding the status of outstanding player payouts.
Topbet acknowledged that there is a backlog of players owed who are waiting to receive funds through methods that rely on third party processors.
While no specific numbers were discussed, Topbet was optimistic that payouts would be caught up in the near future. The betting site was lowered to C- and then to D+ after an accumulation of player slow-pay complaints even during the peak part of the year.
SBR asked when Topbet planned to incorporate other methods that allow for players to be paid faster such as bitcoin, as Topbet had initially claimed bitcoin would be integrated in time for the NFL preseason. A specific date was not given though Topbet expected to have bitcoin added possibly within days.
A new Topbet payout complaint has been filed by a player who is waiting on six $2,500 withdrawals with the oldest dating back to August 19, which is outside of the advertised 10-15 business day time-frame.
Topbet users in need of assistance should submit a sportsbook complaint form.
Once Topbet is able to get back on track with player payments, SBR will reevaluate its most recent downgrade to D+.
