TonyBet Sportsbook User Passes Phone Test, Will Now be Paid
TonyBet Sportsbook (SBR rating D) management has responded to SBR concerning the player complaint reported recently on the sportsbook newswire.
A TonyBet player became alarmed that she would not be paid - although the payout request she made was only outstanding for little more than a week - after her account was disabled following comments made on Twitter.
The player claimed that immediately after berating the online sportsbook via Twitter and complaining of the unpaid payout, she was sent a direct message asking her to supply a time for a verification call. At this time, her account was also disabled the sportsbook.
TonyBet has since confirmed that the player satisfactorily passed the phone screening. The player's payout will now be escalated back to the finance department along with the green light that the Know Your Customer (KYC) process has been completed.
TonyBet was recently assessed with an initial rating of D by SBR. The sportsbook is licensed by Estonian gaming authorities.
