Sportsbook.com warning: Payouts taking six to eight weeks
A Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D-) player has written in with a general payout complaint. The player discovered that Sportsbook.com is currently advertising a six to eight week time-frame to receive payouts via certain methods. He requested to be paid just under $7,000 and expected that the payout would be processed in a standard window.
Sportsbook.com is one of the world's largest online sportsbooks serving the North American market, but many players are seemingly unaware of the organization's checkered past and extended payout times. Sportsbook.com is rated by SBR at D-, good enough for entry on the sportsbook blacklist.
The Sportsbook.com review page lists their long history with player disputes from cold cases to payout issues along the week. Just recently, a batch of over $80K in delinquent Sportsbook.com withdrawals were filled as the 2013 football season approached.
While Sportsbook.com is reported to be maintaining their six to eight week time-frame, the excessive waiting time is inconsistent with the industry's better online sportsbooks. Management has pinned the blame on third party processors in the past and has not provided an update on when the payout speed should improve.
As of late, Sportsbook.com has addressed player complaints that have been filed. Players should still proceed with caution and opt for an online sportsbook with a better history. The sportsbook ratings guide is a directory of sportsbooks complete with features and detailed information to aid bettors in making the soundest decision on where to send their hard-earned funds.
