SBR Sportsbook Profile of bookmaker 10Bet
10Bet Sportsbook (SBR rating B) management has informed SBR that they are seeking gaming licenses in Italy, Spain, and France.
10Bet presently holds a UK Gambling Commission license. This license is somewhat coveted today as SBR reported a major gambling law change for operators that caused some to exit the UK market entirely.
SBR posters have noted in recent polls that they are more likely to deposit with a sportsbook which holds a gaming license of some sort, though licensing in and of itself is not a guarantee of fairness.
Cashier Platform Changes
Recent platform changes for players to take note of has been the elimination of deposit and withdrawal fees. SBR has been told that Paypal will soon be implemented into the 10Bet cashier. SBR has inquired on if 10Bet has any plans to add bitcoin to their cashier. As of now, international focused sportsbooks have yet to cater to bitcoin transactions, though this may change in 2015.
After conducting a review of the 10Bet platform during a key Champions league stretch of games, SBR counted 200 betting types on soccer.
Tech / Mobile
10Bet management has informed SBR that they will soon introduce a new mobile product designed specifically for tablets, which has allegedly been over a year in the making. The current mobile product was said to to be responsible for 42% of turnover; a significant percentage which demonstrates that the betting industry is not immune to internet wide trends where consumers spend about as much time on their smartphones and tablets as they used to on conventional desktops.
Perhaps most notably for players, the betting site has agreed to stand by any SBR ruling on potential player complaints. The sportsbook has received a ratings adjustment from B- to B.
