SBR News Report on 1XBet Sportsbook's Blacklisting
Sportsbook Review's Natalie Rydstrom reports on Russia based betting site 1XBet being added to the worst sportsbook blacklist.
1XBet initially debuted on the blacklist after several complaints were submitted by players who claimed that they had been dealt with unfairly, slowly paid, or had their winnings erased from their betting accounts.
A former manager of the online sportsbook worked to address the many cases and eventually, in November of 2015, the betting site received a partial upgrade to D which temporarily removed them from the worst betting website list.
The online sportsbook should be avoided until it establishes that players are being treated in line with the industry standard and not having their balances unfairly confiscated in the name of alleged bonus abuse. Many betting sites believe that players who wager all-in on their first deposit then never risk their funds above the minimum to clear withdrawal are somehow bonus hustlers or "cheating" the system.
Online sportsbooks cannot choose to confiscate winnings and ask questions later or randomly interrogate players without reasonable evidence of wrongdoing.
1XBet bettors in need of assistance should put in a sportsbook complaint with SBR.
