Rivalo Sportsbook assessed with D- rating
Rivalo Sportsbook has been assed with an initial rating of D-.
The online sportsbook has refused to address recent player complaints that involve the confiscation of player winnings.
In one of the complaints - initially reported by SBR mid-March - a player had €500 confiscated and was only told that Rivalo did not have to explain their decision.
The player is irate and understandably so.
Rivalo user: "I have had account there for one year and for this year I placed maybe hundred of bets. I was even able to withraw some time ago close to €1,000 and money came to my Neteller account without problems. My remaining balance (close to €500) I tried to withdraw and Rivalo deactived my account and confiscated money. They even didnt tell me the reason!"
Rivalo linked the player to their terms and conditions and has refused comment to either Sportsbook Review or the player.
An additional Rivalo complaint was reported by SBR on March 19. This time, more information was given to a player, who had a balance of €135 pocketed by the bookmaker. The player was accused of organised betting, suggesting that he collaborated with others to circumvent betting limits, despite the small account he maintained.
This complaint also remains outstanding.
Rivalo operates an e-licence issued in Curacao, and is part of the Sportsbook Review blacklist.
