PointCasino Sportsbook to revisit bonus theft cases
PointCasino Sportsbook (SBR rating D) has vowed to revisit the outstanding cold cases submitted by players earlier in the year. PointCasino players filed complaints alleging that their winnings were confiscated after the sportsbook retroactively amended their bonus terms to restrict certain types of wagers. At the time, PointCasino refused to change their ruling.
SBR reported on March 3 that a PointCasino player had $1,000 confiscated. The player was accused of violating bonus terms by placing a single multiple (parlay) bet. Like other players, he stated that at the time of registration no such rule was listed outlawing multiple bets.
On February 12, SBR reported that two PointCasino players had winnings confiscated for betting on the total goals of a match, as well as betting in excess of their deposit amount. SBR posted a screenshot provided by one of the players which appeared to verify their claim that PointCasino amended the bonus terms and conditions.
PointCasino defended their confiscations in a terse statement to SBR which made no mention of the allegations of their retroactively altered terms.
In all of the above examples, PointCasino not only confiscated bonuses, but all winnings derived from the bonuses, zeroing out player accounts down to the starting deposit.
