PointCasino confiscates €1000 from bonus winner
PointCasino.com (SBR rating D+) has confiscated €1000 from a player. The player was accused of violating PointCasino's bonus terms and conditions by placing a single multiple bet. Like other players, he states that at the time of his registration no such restriction was listed on multiple bets. PointCasino is using his single wager as reason to confiscate his entire balance less deposit.
On February 20th, SBR reported that PointCasino defended their confiscations.
PointCasino statement to SBR: "The official statement in general about players who refuse to follow terms & condition is that entire bonus and any bonus winning may be cancled from the account. PointCasino has several of players following the terms & condition and these players have had no issues and been able to withdraw the entire winnings."
PointCasino would not directly acknowledge retroactively enforcing their bonus rules: A point the following player makes.
PointCasino player: "I took a €200 bonus which had no term or condition stipulating that combo bets are not allowed. I placed a single combo bet of €64 across a total of €3064 bets in a €3000 rollover. When I went to withdraw it would not let me and when I contacted customer services they confiscated all of my winnings and offered to refund only my deposit. Pointcasino has not quoted the term or condition I broke. I have emailed them a total of 5 times since they've confiscated my money and received no replies or explanation. The longer it is between the confiscation and an investigation into them the more likely it is they will manufacture a new term and apply it retroactively."
