Paysafecard replaces Ukash: Sports Bettors must redeem vouchers
Sportsbook deposit method Ukash has been acquired by the Paysafecard brand, a subisidary of Skrill (formerly Moneybookers).
Speaking on the news, Udo Müller had the following to say according to a report published at iGaming Business:
"The acquisition of Ukash has given us the opportunity to expand the choice for consumers wanting to make secure online payments," said Müller.
"We have brought together the best of the prepaid technologies from both Ukash and paysafecard to give consumers a safe and easy way to make online payments and we are now embarking on a nationwide campaign to ensure the retailers and users are aware of the changes taking place."
If you're a player holding a bundle of Ukash vouchers -- not to worry, they will be good for redemption at online sportsbooks and all merchants who accept Ukash until the 31st of October, 2015.
This deal comes just three months after Skrill acquired Ukash.
