Online Sportsbook News Video Report: 7/31
Sportsbook Review's Natalie Rydstrom delivers an SBR News video update for Friday, July 31st.
Topics covered in today's show include the current price of bitcoin (BTC) and how interested sports bettors can find online betting sites and casinos that accept deposits using the anonymous crypto-currency.
A total of 27 online sportsbooks are listed in the sportsbook rating guide as accepting bitcoin. The most recent addition to this list was BetOwi and MyBookie.ag sportsbook.
Other topics included in the video report include a player's complaint that BetPhoenix is slow-paying him in a payment plan that has been stretched out over a year.
BetPhoenix had their rating downgraded to C- yesterday and has yet to provide comment on the case.
The report also detailed the latest complaint from an EasyStreet Sports (SBR rating F) player who was scammed by the defunct betting site. EasyStreet closed their operation without paying any of their players, and never made good on the $46,000 owed to a winning casino player.
SBR urges players who are locked into disputes with their online sportsbooks to take the time to register a sportsbook complaint.
