MarathonBet addresses payout complaint
MarathonBet Sportsbook management has addressed the player dispute reported over an unpaid $916 withdrawal.
A player claimed that he had been attempting to order payment for over two months without success.
The player had his limits dramatically lowered by MarathonBet, prompting him to go ahead and ask for full balance payment, after seeing his $1 limits across the board as a clear sign that the betting site did not want his action moving forward.
SBR questioned MarathonBet concerning the player's complaint.
MarathonBet indicated that there were issues with the IBAN number supplied by the player originally, causing the player to have to get corrected information from his bank.
The sportsbook indicated that the player supplied correct details on November 11. The bank transfer was processed today, November 18. Marathonbet cited that their website indicates the bank transfer request process can take between 3 to 10 working days, and that this time-frame only started on November 11 once the sportsbook had all necessary data to process the request.
MarathonBet Player: "They are holding $916 USD from me and I don't know if I will ever get it. I even asked them if they can convert the funds to Canadian to see if it will make this much easier but they refused to do that. Please help me I don't know what else to do, I keep going in circles with this site."
