Latest Topbet Sportsbook Payout Complaint
A new sportsbook complaint has been filed against Topbet Sportsbook.
A player has reported that he has been owed a $1,500 payout from the betting site since June 6. When the player followed up with Topbet to inquire on when exactly he should be paid, he was told that a time-frame could not be given as of this time.
Sportsbook Review lowered the rating of Topbet on May 27 after an accumulation of slow-pay complaints. The betting site shifted the blame on third-party processors and shared that they were in the testing stages of adding bitcoin to their platform to allow online sports bettors to deposit and get paid with the digital currency in time for the start of the American football season, which is just over a month away.
Topbet has had issues with timely payments in the past. Topbet had their rating downgraded previously in April of 2015 to C- for similar problems, though the sportsbook was able to get a handle on the problems and received an update back to C in June.
SBR reported last week that a player reported being owed $2,340 for over one month from Topbet. Topbet responded that they were looking into the player's payout complaint. Prior to that, a player reported being owed $1,300 since June 4.
