Las Vegas Sportsbook Limits Discussed at SBR Forum
An SBR Forum discussion thread poses the question of which Las Vegas casinos are best for placing large sports wagers for NFL and College Football betting.
SBR Forum poster 'futbolmundial' points out that unlike with online sportsbooks, Las Vegas sportsbooks will issue players with tax forms on wagering slips that return $10,000 or more after a bet is won.
"You rarely want to bet a 5k betslip in Vegas. I don't think you want to be filling out tax forms for slips that return 10k after you win. Thus betting smaller would suit you in the end. Line shop and keep slips under 2.5k (risk) . If you want to bet 5k per slip, then I would take my action to [an online sportsbook] as they let you risk 50k per NFL game..... and no tax forms..." (Note from SBR: This is a third party member opinion and does not constitute tax advice)
Poster BigDaddyQH on the other hand had a different take: "It is not that difficult if you have the cash. Any Strip Hotel will take your action for 5K or less. Vegas is like any other city. It is all about who you know. "
Bettors can find sportsbook wagering limits for each of the online industry's most reputable sports betting sites from their full review pages.
