Kingdom Casino Player vs. Sportsbook: Accused of being a Pro

A Kingdom Casino player launched a complaint with Sportsbook Review earlier this morning.

The player is allegedly a 21-year-old college student who ran up a balance at the betting site - which is part of the BTG Global family of betting sites - who was reportedly accused of being a "non-recreational player".

This label is typically placed on players believed to be too sharp or professional for the book's liking. It is commonly used to justify confiscations at sports betting sites such as Oddsmaker (SBR rating F).

The player in question first deposited $500 in early April 2015. By his own account, he busted out in a few weeks and soon fired another $400 deposit in. From the mid-way point of April to just after the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight (which the player profited on), his balance grew to $2795, which included $2,395 in straight profit.

At this point, the player had his account closed by the betting site and was told that he is not considered recreational. He was told that both deposits would be returned to him and that his winnings would be sent as a cheque for the remaining $1,895.

The player confirmed that he has already received $400 back, but he has yet to receive the $500 deposit and making matters worse, the cheque he received from the betting site turned up no good, for which he was charged $35.  He claims that the sportsbook has been inconsistent in providing updates to him, and just wants to make sure he will receive what he is owed.

Sportsbook Review is following up with the owner of BTG Global concerning this player's issue.
