Bwin.party expects their full-year turnover to be down by as much as 17%. Their earnings before interest and taxes fell by a third to €60.7. The company is focusing their efforts in markets with an expectation of generating more attractive results long-term. Sales are down from sports betting, poker, and casino. SBR reported on July 8 that geo-location tech provider GeoComply Inc signed a deal with Bwin.party.
SBR also reports on software supplier Playtech reporting a 15% yearly increase bringing their revenue to €176.8 through the first half of the year. Playtech's gross income is up 10%. The good results have been attributed to progress made with mobile as well as launches by licensees including Bet365 Sportsbook (SBR rating A).
