Gtbets Sportsbook upgraded to B-
SBR added Gtbets Sportsbook to the ratings guide on August 16th, 2011. GTBets' initial rating was C. Gtbets assumes responsibility for remaining VIP balances
SBR learned that Gtbets was operated by key management and technical staff from the VIP family. At the time of Gtbets' introduction to the ratings guide, players who missed the VIP Sports deadline of requesting to be paid their balances by August 1st, 2011 were uncertain of when or how they would receive final payment.
SBR reported on September 5th, 2011 that Gtbets agreed to pay all former VIP Sports group players that did not request their balances before the imposed deadline.
SBR confirmed over $40,000 in payouts to VIP players by Gtbets over the coming weeks.
Gtbets is based in Curacao and uses the same state of the art technology previously offered by VIP, acquiring many of the same web servers and keeping the look VIP clients were accustomed to.
Gtbets management expressed the desire to be treated as a separate entity than VIP. Gtbets settled into their operation and in the coming year began to earn positive remarks from SBR forum users.
In May of 2012, SBR reported that Gtbets rolled out a new mobile platform.
Gtbets has satisfactorily addressed user submitted sportsbook claims, including sorting the payout of a user with an issue reported in September of 2012.
Gtbets' sportsbook rating has been upgraded to B-. Players with feedback may opine in the SBR Industry Forum, as well as submit their feedback directly by writing to email@example.com.
