Online sports betting site GTBets was first added to the sportsbook rating guide in August of 2011.
The sportsbook got its start by acquiring the now defunct VIP Sports' (SBR rating B-) software and hardware, as well as retaining key management.
GTBets helped facilitate the final closing payment of some VIPSports players who did not request their balances by the specified time and was initiated with a C rating.
GTBets Adds Mobile Platform
GTBets added their mobile betting platform in May of 2012 as reported by SBR.
Near the close of 2012, the online sportsbook was assessed with an updated rating of B- after satisfactorily addressing the few player complaints on file and maintaining a solid payout track record.
GTBets Improves International Betting Cart
GTBets added support for Aussie rules football, rugby, and cricket in Q4 of 2015.
GTBets Updates Mobile Platform
At the same time of bolstering their international sports offerings, the online sportsbook significantly improved their mobile software reducing the number of presses required to place a bet and providing a more seamless experience. The software has received positive feedback from players, with one online sports bettor writing:
"I've been with them since they took over VIP Sports accounts, and it is my favorite betting site. Their bonuses are great, they have a diverse offering of deposit/payout options, and they post a lot of different wagering choices across many sports. They just recently redesigned their mobile site, and it's much improved."
Below are snapshots of the updated GTBets Sportsbook mobile software.
