GR88 Sportsbook Player Denies Syndicate Betting
Sportsbook Review reported on July 10 that GR88 (SBR rating D) accused a player of syndicate betting.
GR88 accused this sports bettor of placing identical wagers with up to 13 other account-holders. GR88 did not specify how it reached this conclusion, or if the players shared a common IP address.
The terms and conditions of the sports betting website have the following clause on the subject:
GR88 Rule, Section 7.5: "We may at any time set off any positive balance on your account against any amount you owe to us when we re-settle any bets or wagers pursuant to duplicate accounts, collusion, cheating, fraud and criminal activity, currency exchange rates, or errors."
The player has denied this charge.
GR88 Player: "This is quite unfair as I am not connected to anyone however gr88 make that call without providing evidence and I am left with nothing! How is that fair?"
Unfortunately, when online sportsbooks decide to confiscate balances, it leaves a giant mountain to climb for players who feel they were wronged.
GR88 may be subject to a sportsbook rating downgrade and inclusion on the scam sportsbook blacklist if it fails to speak as to how they connected the dots that this player is guilty of syndicate betting, or acting in concert with other account-holders with a scheme of defrauding the sportsbook out of their posted wagering limits or out of multiple sign up bonuses.
GR88 players in need of assistance should submit a sportsbook complaint form.
