GR88 seizes another balance; complaints pending
A GR88 Sportsbook (SBR rating D) player has filed a complaint with SBR against the betting site.
He has claimed that his balance was €4,596 when GR88 confiscated his winnings and closed his account.
Like other complaints before him, he has said that the hammer fell after his documents had been approved and he made a withdrawal request.
What is most suspect about the string of GR88 complaints is the procedure. If players have sent in their documents, why verify them only to weeks or days later pull the carpet from underneath them? Does a lightbulb consistently go off whenever a payout request is put in?
It is quite possible that there is more to the story than this player or those before him let on, but until GR88 is willing to speak with Sportsbook Review and shed some light into these confiscations, players should proceed with caution.
On March 10, SBR reported that a player opened an account in December 2014 and deposited £200, receiving a 100% sportsbook bonus. His account was locked immediately, before he submitted his ID and personally identifying documents and had his account verified.
The player successfully withdrew £1,251 before having his account closed and being accused of fraudulent activity. The player maintains his innocence and insists he has just one account at GR88.
The complaints remain pending.
GR88 Sportsbook players in need of assistance are urged to submit a sportsbook complaint form with SBR.
