Globet Sportsbook closes dispute by paying player
On August 6, SBR reported that a Globet Sportsbook (SBR rating D+) player claimed to be owed £800 since June 21. The player initiated his payout request via popular online payment processor Skrill, formerly known as Moneybookers. Globet allegedly failed to provide the player with any information on why his payout was delayed, prompting him to file a sportsbook complaint through SBR.
SBR followed up with Globet Sportsbook to discuss the complaint, although a manager was not immediately available for comment. After a few weeks with the player's complaint sitting in the oven, Globet finally followed back up with SBR indicating that the player's £800 payout request was completed.
SBR then asked the player to confirm the payment.
As with other similar Globet Sportsbook payout issues reported on by SBR in the past, Globet management was unwilling or unable to disclose the precise reason for the delay, why its website was continuing to advertise inaccurate payout speed, or if its processing was expected to improve at any point in the future.
SBR reported three weeks ago that a Globet player was paid €569 after waiting since June 16 for his funds.
Globet's website lists a 2-3 working day time-frame for withdrawals to be honored.
