GlobalBet Player's $40,000 Dispute: SBR investigating

Update 4/10: GlobalBet has scheduled a phone conference with Sportsbook Review to discuss the complaint in detail. No specifics have been given over email about the veracity of the player's complaint.

Sportsbook Review's Natalie Rydstrom provides a recap of a newly filed player complaint aimed at over an allegedly outstanding $40,000 balance. The video report is embedded at the bottom of this article.

What the player claims:

  • He deposited $8,000 last year.
  • He increased balance to $59,000.
  • He was paid $19k before the payouts stopped.

The player shared an email he received from GlobalBet which acknowledged that the account would be revisited next month, with no specifics as to why the payouts have been stopped:

GlobalBet: “I copy my boss {name redacted}. He is now aware of why your payout balance was canceled. We will however, re-visit the situation later in May, once the company has paid all selected US Clients, and assess possible value of re-activating your account upon a possible deal. So, we will keep the acct in NON PAYMENT Status for now, and will re-visit in May. This decision is final, and comes from the highest officer in the Group.”
