BetPhoenix offers free bet to settle player dispute
Sportsbook Review reported on April 27 that BetPhoenix (SBR rating C) management was investigating a payout complaint originally posted in March.
A player claimed a $2,000 payout was lost in the mail and that he was unable to have the transaction voided and a replacement payout issued.
BetPhoenix clarified this part of the complaint: The player was shown to have received the payout as a person authorized to accept the delivery signed off on the package.
The player was said to have acknowledged the possibility that he accidentally discarded the delivery. The method in question cannot be traced or voided, which put the player and sports betting site at an impasse - however, BetPhoenix agreed to credit a free play in the amount of $1,000 as a token of good faith in light of the user's history.
The free bet comes with a 4X rollover requirement.
Sportsbook Review has followed up with the player to confirm that he has received the free bet.
BetPhoenix players in need of assistance should submit a sportsbook complaint form.
