BetPhoenix management investigating payout complaint
BetPhoenix Sportsbook (SBR rating C) is looking into the payout complaint reported by Sportsbook Review last month.
A player claimed that a $2,000 cheque payout was lost in the mail, and that he asked if the online sports betting website they could verify that the funds were not received.
He was told that this would not be possible. Sportsbook Review followed up with BetPhoenix customer service but did not hear back.
A member of BetPhoenix management contacted SBR seeking to discuss the complaint. The payout issue is now being investigated.
If the complaint is as the player stated and the onus not on himself and instead the carrier, the online sportsbook should be able to determine the veracity of what he is saying and reissue payment as necessary.
