BetMayor Sportsbook back Online, Blackjack Casino dispute pending
BetMayor Sportsbook (SBR rating F) is now back online and appears to be processing player registrations.
The sports betting website was undergoing an alleged ownership change and had previously suspended its service whilst the transition took place.
Prior to the changing of ownership, a $51,000 blackjack winnings dispute was filed against the betting site.
A player was told that he was guilty of being a professional Blackjack player - despite the software, which is supplied by Digital Gaming Solutions (DGS), reshuffling after every hand and being used by many top industry sportsbooks.
The player went on what he describes as an incredible run in the Blackjack casino, despite having long-term losses at the game at other betting sites. His action was voided by BetMayor, who claimed that he violated their terms and conditions prohibiting "professional" play.
The subjective and arbitrary label considering the circumstances was immediately challenged by Sportsbook Review. The sports betting site discussed their version of the time-line and even shared the player's game session data:
Sportsbook Review forum members pointed out that the very stats provided highlight the player not being a professional or playing fully optimal strategy. BetMayor insisted that the player had already been paid more than he deposited, so he would receive nothing further.
A break in the case appeared to come when an account manager told SBR the player would be paid after the dust settled on their acquisition - this was two months ago.
To date, the casino winner has not been paid or been given further updates.
Sportsbook Review has followed up on the betting complaint with BetMayor Sportsbook management.
BetMayor players in need of assistance should submit a sportsbook complaint form.
