BetClic Sportsbook confiscates balance

A BetClic (SBR rating D+) player submits a sportsbook complaint. The player states that his account has been closed with a €2,700 balance. BetClic accused the player of operating multiple accounts in the past, and has allegedly not refunded any of the three recent sportsbook deposits. Read the full article for the player's time-line.

Dispute time-line

The player claims that his account was opened on August 8th, 2012. His first deposit was made for €2,000 through Skrill and quickly lost. A second deposit was made that day for €2,900, the player again lost. A third deposit was made for €1,000. The player won, increasing his balance to €2,700.

BetClic closes player's account

BetClic closed the player's account. He was asked to provide ID, bank account details, Skrill information, and proof of address. He claims that all documents were provided and accepted. However, BetClic did not reopen the account, and did not return any deposits to the player.

BetClic claimed that the player had opened two other accounts in 2010 and 2011. The player did not comment on this accusation.
