BetAtHome declines to provide comment on €1,300 complaint
BetAtHome Sportsbook (SBR rating C) has declined to provide comment on the €1,300 winnings confiscation complaint reported yesterday by Sportsbook Review.
A player claimed to have originally deposited €2,150 before losing his whole deposit, at which point he redeposited a smaller sum and increased his balance to €1,300.
After submitting his ID documents, the player claimed that BetAtHome closed his account and confiscated his funds. He maintains that he has only ever operated one sportsbook account with BetAtHome.
SBR asked BetAtHome for comment on the complaint but was only told the following: "We would like to inform you that for security reasons, we do not provide information to third parties. The customer may contact us directly and we will make sure he will be provided with all the relevant information.
However, the player has claimed exactly the opposite - that he has not been given any more information from the operator. At this point, his next step is to launch a complaint with the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).
