Comments: Hi I have been a Sporting Index customer for just over 12 months and have found their customer services poor. On Saturday 30th April I had a bet on second session runs in the West Indies v South Africa test match. The quote from Sporting was based on a two hour session. I phoned and confirmed this too. (They say they cannot find that phone call.) At around 1900 45 minutes from the end of the two hour session Sporting Index discovered that it was in fact a 2 1/2 hour session. Instead of voiding the bet which would be the fairest thing to do they just reframed their quote and put it up by 16 points. As I had sold runs I was immediately £40 down. I contacted them and was told they would look into it, I told them I was concerned that the bet would go further against me. They have eventually come back to me. Their answer is basically tough. What is even more worrying is that they expect me to pay for the further losses incurred after contacting customer services. I am £86 down and as I have had the audacity to complain they have closed my account. Posted as a word of warning to all potential customers. Cheers Paul
