Well the English Premier League season is over but that doesn't mean that there is any reason not to get your soccer bets in early for next season's football betting bonanza.
we nailed three relegation sides and the Champions League sides
and the EPL winner with our soccer picks, and now we are on hand to put
some more money in your pocket this time next year for the 2013–14 English
with the self-promotion…WHERE’S THE MONEY MIKE?
at the top, which is where we mean to go on from, Manchester United are still
the sportsbooks favourites at 11/5 to win the Premier League next season.
place in the team that finished this season in second place, that is Manchester
City at 9/4, somewhat unsurprisingly the
bookies have gone for the blues of Chelsea at 11/4 as a third favourite to win
the Premier League trophy. Next up (would you believe it?) is the team that
finished fourth this season, that’s Arsenal, not Tottenham at 16/1 although
Spurs are at 2/1 to win the league.
two ways of looking at this…either that one of the Manchester's will take it (and
if that can happen is likely to the United) but the soccer odds are so inspiring that
you'd have to bet very heavily to see any decent return on their money…alternatively
you can go little bit wild. Chelsea doesn't tempt me at all, possibly out of
spite so therefore with a drunkard's conviction I'm going to say that it's
definitely worth the having a (modest) bet on the Gunners to be next season's Premier
League champions. It's a long shot but, considering the way they finish this
season you just never know.
to be a Toffee
worth mentioning that Everton (despite their finishing position) still don't
count as a top six club as for as the book makers are concerned as the have
Liverpool at 28/1 as the biggest odds before it gets ridiculous.
run as high as 500/1 and then there is a whole raft of never-gonna-happens
around the 1000/1, 2000/1, 1,500/1, 2000/1 etc etc etc of Newcastle, Swansea,
West Brom, Aston Villa, Reeves Rangers etc.
three promoted sides are going to be the bookies favourites to go down with
Cardiff at 11 /8, Hull at 8/11 and either Watford or Crystal Palace at 1/2.
up there's Norwich at 11/4 but I'd be very interested in betting on either
Stoke Sunderland or Aston Villa who are around 6/1 or 10/3 mark – they’re all
due a bad spell and can count themselves fortune that there were three teams
worse than them last season
is of course always the wild card that plays in black-and-white, Newcastle who
are a very tempting 14/1 to be going down. However I think after this season
they've had it should be well rested and have received a suitable kick up the arse
by their manager.
Geordies will not go down but that's a lot more likely than the finishing in
the top six which is at 7/1.
you do don't lose your shirt at such an early stage, but if you take full
advantage of the best odds throw some money behind Arsenal throw some money
behind the Manchester teams may be a little bit of money behind Everton.
if you want excitement throughout the length of the season, just as you did
this season look to the Champions League places. However I can't see the top
four doing anything other than being the top four so the only way to make money
is to bet on the correct order and to do that you should look above and see my
free picks for who we think who will win the Premier League next season.
you in September
