EasyStreet targeting former BetJamaica, greek, BetEd, VIP customersEasyStreet (SBR rating D) is sending promo emails to players offering a 35% cash signup bonus. While the email is titled "Attention all
greek and BetJamaica Clients", the opening lines also address former BetEd, Nine.com and VIP Sports players. EasyStreet's promo mailer states that the sportsbook has no intent of leaving the US market.
Prior to each football season, all online sportsbooks begin to pump up their marketing and bonuses in an attempt to retain or reel in customer business for the coming pigskin year. Players are advised to avoid lowly rated sportsbooks with histories of unfairly dealing with players. In addition to the already established sportsbooks, many fly-by night scam attempts are made by rogue operators in possession of industry mailing lists. While
EasyStreet Sports is not designated as a
blacklisted sportsbook, its poor rating is largely attributed to the
theft of $46,000 from a winning casino player accused of robot play. |

Heritage Sportsbook Letter to new BetJamaica and Thegreek PlayersPlayer balances were moved from BetJamaica to The
greek yesterday morning. Heritage Sports management has offered reassurances to these players and asked SBR to share this letter with readers. Heritage Sportsbook (SBR rating B+), like BetJamaica, has been online for over 8 years maintaining a high SBR rating.
See Full Letter and brief Q&ATo Our New Clients from The greek and Bet Jamaica,
We hope the transition has gone well for you. I know we had a hiccup or two, but if you
have any issues whatsoever please contact us.
We are here to make sure you are comfortable.
This was not a “slam-dunk” decision on our part. As you know we have an existing client base
that we are very protective over but The greek was very persuasive in wanting
to find a good home for you all and so we gave his companies all of our
invitations this year.

SBG Global (SBR rating D-) cancels futures wagers on Formula 1 World ChampionshipsThree players wrote SBR with similar complaints. Each player had wagered on Jenson Button to win the Formula 1 World Championship at the odds of 70:1. At the time these wagers were placed the betting market, including
Bookmaker (SBR rating A+),
The greek (SBR rating A+) and
Betfair (SBR rating A+), was offering similar betting odds. SBG waited until Jenson Button won the first two Formula 1 races, voided the wagers, and offered to reinstate the bets at 10:1. SBG is wrongly applying the "gross or obvious error" rule to these bets. The line was not offered in error.
SBGglobal bettors are victim of outright theft. This sportsbook has a long history of cheating players. SBG management would not discuss the cancellations with SBR.

SBR mailbag:Player:
Hello SBR, I see on BetPTS.com you rate them a A+. I cant find anything about them in the sbr rating guide. Is this book safe? Will they pay me if I win big? - JFHello JF,
No. This is not an A+ rated sportsbook, but a blacklisted sister sportsbook of the defunct
LazerWager (SBR rating F).
LazerWager began stiffing players in March of 2008. The faked SBR endorsement below is used by the sportsbook to fool its visitors. PTS pretends to quote SBR using a review written for
The
greek (SBR rating A+).

Lazerwager (SBR rating F) officially folds with player funds; parent company scams continueLazerwager again cites frozen funds of third party processors as reason for finally calling it quits. The book used the processor excuse again despite only transferring two partial withdrawals to players since last year's Super Bowl. LazerWager blamed a credit card processor that froze post-up funds in February. LazerWager admitted that it made the mistake of relying on one processor to collect all monies and that without player deposits it did not have the needed funds to pay winners. The sportsbook lied to players saying that it would be transferring money from
other business ventures. During the stalling and false promises of 2008, the sportsbook marketed aggressively to get new deposits from unsuspecting bettors.
The Lazerwager staff told SBR prior to payout issues that the book is owned by
GPS Global SA, also known as
Evolution Sports Data Processing (evodp.com). The sportsbook shares the same server with many other betting sites.
SCAM ALERT: The image below was taken from Lazerager sister sportsbook,
Prime Time Sports website today. The F rated sportsbook pretends to be rated A+ by SBR and quotes a review written for
The greek (SBR rating A+).
All Evolution Sports Data Processing (evodp.com), AKA GPS Global SA,
sites should be avoided. SBR is currently researching all websites
under the operating group in an effort to warn players. They will be listed in the latest SBR scam report.
