Congrats beat the prick 2011 winners!SBRforum's annual
beat the prick contest has concluded. 2,719 SBR posters participated in the 15-week football contest that pit each contestant against SBRforum mascot 'The Prick'. Each contestant had the task of trying to go 4-0, or at least outscore the mascot to win prizes that week. The contest took place on
SBR Contests, SBR's proprietary contest software.
$10,000 was paid to the top 10 places. Congratulations to SBR poster "sportsfun" for taking home the top prize of $5,000.

football handicapping contest is back! Contestants will square off each week in an attempt to defeat "The Prick", the unkempt forum mascot known for his signature southern charm and pithy one-liners. "The Prick" makes four football picks at the start of each week, taking those picks off the board while forum contestants choose from that weekend's NFL and NCAAF slate of sides and totals. Those who outscore "The Prick" with a positive units record receive a weighted share of 50,000 SBR points per week. Standings are kept each week and at the conclusion of the contest the top eight finishers receive part of a whopping $10,000 prize. Contestants are mathematically eligible to claim the grand prize if they join the football handicapping contest prior to week four. The cash is paid to the winners with no strings attached after the 15th NFL week.
Another free, big prize handicapping contest is also registering for months one and two of the football year. The free SBRforum football contest is a picks pool that all users with valid SBRforum accounts are eligible to play, the unique contest offers prizes like a 55'' LG TV for first place (valued at more than $1,500), stereo equipment, laptops and more. All users must do is register for the

beat the prick 2010 winners. A $10,00 pot was shared among the top 7 season-ending contestants. SBRforum poster ksmort took home the top $5,000 prize, bretb7 was the runner-up pocketing $2,500, and Lineman finished in 3rd with $1,000. Step 1: Each week SBRforum's mascot, The Prick, enters 4 picks on NFL/NCAAF sides & totals.

Congratulations to beat the prick Season winners Sininster Cat took $456 in weekly prizes and was the high scorer on the season for another $2,500.

The final two weeks of the beat the prick contest are upon us with close races on both ends of the standings. SBRforum poster tomcast is leading with 25 points and has been atop the leader board most of the season. The ranks are tightening with poster pokernut9999 just three points behind in second followed by rezster with 21 points and jon13009 at 20. In a three-way tie for fifth with 19 points each are Santo, serontin and Doc JS. The Prick, who has shut out the field going 4-0 three times this year, promises a special booby prize for last place. That honor is currently shared by robmpink and shantystar, both with -19 scores. Although new entries can no longer compete for the grand prizes, the next two weeks offer the chance for new contestants to take $100 each in weekly prizes. Picks must be submitted by 11:00 EST. SBR Congratulates Winners of the 2006 beat the prick Football Handicapping Contest!SBRforum poster
Aces took the grand prize with a 38-16-2 record and a total score of 30 points. Aces and a guest will be attending Super Bowl XLI in Miami on February 4th.
Second place went to poster
TLD who was 34-19-3 for 22 points. The second best showing scored a trip for two to Monday’s BCS Bowl between Ohio State and Florida.
