Don't be a victim! SBR's guide to sportsbook account securitySBR receives thousands of
sportsbook complaints per year. A small percentage of these complaints are from players who say their accounts have been hacked. While some of these claims are proven to be fraudulent, others have shown to be a security breach by a third party. Your sportsbook account should be treated no different than online banking. This involves some simple steps that will greatly reduce your chance at becoming a victim.
Tip #1: Don't use the same password at multiple sportsbooksA player should have a unique password for every sportsbook that he or she uses. The same rule applies to e-mail passwords, online banking pages, and any other sites the player logs into that could be targeted by an intruder. In nearly all cases where a sportsbook account is accessed without authorization, the player's password was recycled. Using the same password at multiple sites makes identifying the source of an attack infinitely harder. It also creates the possibility that multiple accounts are compromised. Use a different password for each site that you log into.

Defunct Apex Sportsbook (SBR rating F) back onlineApex websites, ApexSportsbook.com and ApexSportsbetting.com, return online five years after closing and stiffing players. The Apex websites were utilized as handicapping and betting
Tips sites by Apex owner, Robbie, AKA Zach, marketed his
new sportsbook ventures including his next sportsbook operation
Bet33 (SBR rating F).
ApexSportsbook is now one of many skins running on the Bet33 platform. Bet33, and even some players, have argued that the sportsbook should not have an F rating because the book has been online over three years and has not had any payout complaints filed against it. Bet33, its sister sites, and it's pay per head service, Realbookie.com, were built using the stolen funds from the original Apex Sports customers. Robbie has been asked multiple times in recent years to consider repaying his former customers.

LVSN.com recommends players use
Scam-Book EnglishSportsBetting (SBR rating F-), while giving
Tips on how to avoid disreputable sportsbooks. Once the player becomes stranded in ESB, LVSN charges victims a fee for help in recovering their funds which they will never see. LVSN is simply an extension of ESB’s con game. Both sites share the same IP address.
