Heritage Sportsbook upgraded to A-Heritage Sportsbook (SBR rating A-) placed third in the SBR
posters poll conducted last month. The sportsbook by all accounts has handled 4X the growth well so far this football season;
Heritage acquired all BetJamaica players earlier this year when the A+ rated sportsbook announced that it would
close down, Heritage also housed US-based
TheGreek (SBR rating A+) players.
Heritage has long been known as being a niche shop, one that was invite-only and catered to their group of VIP players. Heritage Sportsbook's strong point over the years has been its financial strength and ability to process payments at or above the industry-standard in terms of time. Heritage Sportsbook's operation is headquartered in Costa Rica.
SBR has upgraded Heritage's rating from B+ to A-. Heritage players with feedback are asked to
write to SBR or post directly in the SBR
Sportsbook Industry news section.

Heritage Sportsbook Letter to new BetJamaica and TheGreek PlayersPlayer balances were moved from BetJamaica to
TheGreek yesterday morning. Heritage Sports management has offered reassurances to these players and asked SBR to share this letter with readers. Heritage Sportsbook (SBR rating B+), like BetJamaica, has been online for over 8 years maintaining a high SBR rating.
See Full Letter and brief Q&ATo Our New Clients from The Greek and Bet Jamaica,
We hope the transition has gone well for you. I know we had a hiccup or two, but if you
have any issues whatsoever please contact us.
We are here to make sure you are comfortable.
This was not a “slam-dunk” decision on our part. As you know we have an existing client base
that we are very protective over but The Greek was very persuasive in wanting
to find a good home for you all and so we gave his companies all of our
invitations this year.

Betting Barack Obama or John McCain? SBRforum writer Elihu Feustel takes a look at finding value betting the 2008 election.
With the last few elections being nail-biters going down to the wire, the 2008 election is getting a lot of betting interest across the world. As of October 5, the democrats have an advantage. The polls show a moderate lead for the Barack Obama in Michigan, and smaller leads in Ohio and Florida. The betting markets favor the democrats more decisively. Matchbook’s offers of -315/+292 and TheGreek’s prices of -360/280 suggest about a 75% chance of a democratic victory. These prices are consistent with what the polls show – electoral-vote.com indicates that Obama has a lead of 329 to 194 electoral votes if the election happened today. Read
