GolfingGods (SBR rating F) closes with player funds; cuts off contact GolfingGods has been in slow-pay mode since August which prompted a series of downgrades bringing the book from D+ to F. Owner, Jason West told players, through a statement on the book’s homepage, that
GolfingGods was broke and players would not be able to speak with him. The message has since been edited. Unless legal action against this UK licensed company is pursued, it is unlikely bettors will hear from "Jason West" or
Golfing Gods again. Below is the original message posted on

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM GolfingGodsIt is with great regret that the directors of GolfingGods Ltd have decided that the company must cease trading immediately.The directors are in the process of consulting with appropriate parties regarding the future of GolfingGods Ltd. Further communication will follow shortly.In view of this development all correspondence to GolfingGods via email or mail will be temporarily blocked, until the Insolvency Practitioner appointed in relation to GolfingGods Ltd allows such correspondence to be sent to an appropriate location.Thank you. GolfingGods (SBR rating D-) clients submit eight slow-pay complaints in six days. The golf sportsbook is not taking calls or responding to emails. During previous payout droughts, ownership has contacted SBR claiming that withdrawal problems were isolated to specific transfer methods.
GolfingGods blamed fake transfer restrictions imposed by Neteller after a surge in payout complaints in December. Players should avoid this book, which is known for its unique golf matchup betting options.

"Kindly ask you to help me to solve withdrawal problem with GolfingGods.15th of August 2006 I’ve made a request to withdraw 1000 gbp from my account to my bank account. But there’re no money still deposited on my bank account. And there’re no any answers from GolfingGods. I’ve sent them about 20 letters".

SBR Bill Dozer reports: GolfingGods (SBR rating D+) slow-paying player $1100 over one week. The bettor has requested a Neteller payout on the 20th for $1700 but has only received a partial payment of $600. The book’s Managing Director Jason, tells the player he must wait until later this week due to insufficient funds in his Neteller merchant account.
GolfingGods has not offered the user an alternate payout method.

SBR Bill Dozer reports: GolfingGods(SBR rating D-) owner comments on recent difficulties, assures SBR accounting issues have been addressed."I can thankfully report that our Neteller situation is now corrected and we are free to move unlimited funds to client accounts through Neteller. As you know we were restricted previously but I am glad to say that our bank (Royal Bank of Scotland) and Neteller have now lifted restrictions.""We are both aware of the initial difficulties faced by GolfingGods but as I have pointed out in this email these issues have now been resolved. I look forward to working with you to achieve a better rating for my company on the Sports Book Review."
GolfingGods had previously blamed payout delays on limitations put in place by Neteller although alternate withdrawal options were not made available. All players who have complained of payout delays to SBR have been paid in full as of September.

GolfingGods’ unwillingness to process withdrawals by the advertised payout methods. Players are reporting sporadic Neteller payouts for no more than $1500 each. The majority of these withdrawal requests have been declined.

Weekend Slow-pay Complaints: TheCasinoFiles (SBR rating F+): owes player $2675 since last March. PlayerSupport assures SBR that a reasonable payment plan will be in place by Tuesday.
BetRoyal (SBR rating D-): owes player Neteller payout for $2500 since last Wednesday. SBR now has complaints from three players with outstanding withdrawal requests.
GolfingGods (SBR rating D): Player reports being asked to wait one week for his Neteller withdrawal. SBR has also received recent customer service complaints against
GolfingGods.
