Globet Sport (SBR rating D+) pays player for canceled MLB wager.
5/30/2009 12:11 AM
Globet Sport (SBR rating D+) wrongly cancels a player's winning 10 Euro wager on the Boston Red Sox after the game was completed. The book initially told the player his wager was past-posted, even though it was made six hours before the May 28th game between Boston and Minnesota began. The book accidentally applied the start-time of the wrong game from a previous day when canceling the player's winning wager. When the player pointed out the book's error,
GlobetSport refused to fix the problem, citing rule 4.2: "
Globet reserves the right to refuse the whole or any part of any bet request for any reason". SBR is attempting to contact management on behalf of the player.

Globet (SBR rating D+) still taking losing bets after games are over
The sportsbook is known for holding wager orders until after the sporting event is over. The practice is most common with bets placed in the late evening. Globet requires that all wagers are manually confirmed before the player officially has a bet and claims its staff is sometimes unable to confirm all wagers before the office closes each day. This leaves players wondering if their wager on early morning games are active. Globet has the obvious advantage of accepting or denying the wager after the game has started or finished. The book does not employ a night staff.
Player: I also had the problem with late hours bet when they accepted the next morning when the bet had already lost!!!They replied to me that i should have send them a message (via their site) before the start of the game and request to cancel the bet!

Globet (SBR rating D+) accepts losing wager day after event
The sportsbook requires all wagers to be manually confirmed by its lines staff before the player officially has action. Globet has been known to accept losing bets well after the events are finished. Players need to be aware that if they place a wager after business hours, when sportsbook services are closed, the book may take the opportunity to accept wagers that have already lost the previous night or early that morning.
Player: I placed a bet last week at Globet for £100 and they said it was conditionally accepted - meaning it was referred to a trader to authorise it. The bet wasn't accepted until the next day when it had already lost. I think it is only fair to have a decision whether to accept the bet before the match! Interestingly they say the bet can be cancelled by sending a message or calling during office hours. Since there would be no-one there at 23:30 at night no-one would have been contactable till they'd already accepted the losing wager the next day. Also they have quite happily admitted to accepting a losing wager after the event. This is totally unacceptable for me. This is their stance:
Globet: Thank you for your message. Please note that bets placed during closing time and conditionally accepted will be examined the morning after by the odds compilers, who will decide whether or not to accept them. The client can choose to request the cancellation of the bet (as long as the events have not started yet) by sending a message or calling us during office hours. If you get in touch with the Company after the match has already been played, the decision taken by Globet will be unappealable.

Globet downgraded from C- to D+
5/13/2006 11:39 AM
SBR Bill Dozer reports: Globet (SBR rating D+) choosing to confirm or cancel wagers on morning games that have already begun or concluded. The sportsbook requires that all wagers be manually confirmed by its staff before becoming official. Players who have wagered on morning events during the previous evening found that wagers may be validated only after the result is known. This process is responsible for a steady flow of negative feedback from
Globet clients.
Globet advises players who feel this process is unfair not to wager after business hours when wagering is out of the office.
Globet has been downgraded from C- to D+ due to variety of wagering complaints.

SBR Bill Dozer reports: Globet(SBR rating C-) ignores its listed rule (9.2) stating that soccer matches suspended before the 90th minute will be "deemed void", graded as no action. The sportsbook has graded a player’s wager on a soccer match suspended in the 76th minute a loss, stating that the Argentinean Federation considers the match official. Players should be able to have confidence that the sportsbook’s printed rules will stand.
