Gamblerspalace (SBR rating C) players. Each reports the sportsbook failing to pay on quoted dates and has not answered player questions regarding new payment dates.
Player:
I have noticed in the forum that players are having issues with Gamblers Palace payouts. I would also like to make a note of my problem. Just before the Superbowl, they declined to take any more action from me. They “promised” that my funds would be returned to my Neteller account within 2 weeks. Nothing has happened – most recently they have asked if I will accept a bankwire, but nothing has come of that either. I have approximately $6,000 in my account there.

Gamblerspalace agrees to pay player for confiscated winnings of $117
The sportsbook
agrees to pay $117, in addition to the $120 in winnings already collected by the player. The book kept a portion of the players winnings, which were not won with the bonus, when he cashed out.
Gamblerspalace acknowledges that its stated rules need to be changed in order to prohibit the withdrawing of winnings when the player chooses to take a payout before meeting the betting requirements. SBR has suggested different policies for this situation such as not allowing players to withdraw early, and prohibiting the withdrawal of funds actually won by the bonus.

Gamblerspalace (SBR rating C) confiscates $117 player winningsThe player requested a withdrawal prior to meeting his bonus rollover.
Gamblerspalace rules state that if the player takes a payout before meeting the bonus terms and conditions the amount of the bonus will be deducted.
Gamblerspalace initially agreed to pay the player and reword its rules to reflect a deduction of the bonus and winnings from that bonus. The sportsbook later refused to pay the player.
Note: The player never had the bonus plus funds in play, meaning the bonus was not directly used to earn winnings.

Player vs. Gamblerspalace (SBR rating C)
A
Gamblerspalace user is told that because he has requested a withdrawal he was ineligible for, due to rollover restrictions, he must redo his seven-time rollover (play-through of deposit + bonus) from the beginning.
Gamblerspalace does not list any rules about restarting the wagering requirement in its bonus terms. SBR does not have any other complaints filed against Gamblers Palace which was upgraded twice in 2007.
Update 4/20/08 Gamblerspalace agrees to payout player without further restrictions
11/10/2007 11:44 PM
Gamblerspalace (SBR rating C) management agrees to pay player his winnings of $425.
11/9/2007 10:45 PM
Gamblerspalace (SBR rating C) confiscates $425 Gamblerspalace states that a player won $425 betting straight wagers.
Gamblerspalace claims he then took advantage of a software glitch that allowed him to manipulate if-bets. "He wagered small amounts on the initial bet and if it won, would be set for a large wager on a correlated outcome of the same game." Wagering in this manner allows a player to essentially hold or cancel large bets based on other related outcomes of that same game. The player has not disputed the decision to void these if-bets which resulted in a $2,000 profit but has requested his previously existing balance of $425. SBR expects
Gamblerspalace to reconsider the decision to punish the player by confiscating these funds.
Gamblerspalace states they have not been able to recreate the "software malfuncton." |
