Blackdog upgraded from C to C+

RebateWager upgraded from C+ to B-RebateWager earned its second upgrade in 2009. The sportsbook continues to seek feedback from players and SBR and has no pending or unresolved complaints. RebateWager first opened its post-up operation under the
Blackdog name in 2007. After a
rocky introduction by its sales department, management has provided industry references and has been transparent with SBR inquiries. SBRforum
poster feedback has also been positive. Players should be aware that SBR still considers
RebateWager a relatively new sportsbook and advises online sport bettors use books rated B+ or higher.

RebateWager enters the SBR rating guide at C. RebateWager is a new sportsbook from the Blackdog Group. The sportsbook, using Digital Gaming Software, is located in Heredia, Costa Rica.

Blackdog users almost one year ago with
reports that the book was misrepresenting itself as being affiliated with other known brands
5Dimes (SBR rating A) and
BetRoyal (SBR rating D-) in an effort to acquire their players.
Blackdog management tells SBR it has dismissed the offending members of its sales staff and "
any mention of any other sportsbook would result in immediate termination." SBR has not received any
Blackdog withdrawal or wagering complaints.
Blackdog has been added to the SBR rating guide at C-.

SCAM ALERT: Blackdog Sportsbook falsely claiming to be part of 5Dimes (SBR rating A) and offering credit accounts. Players report being solicited by the book which uses the website BlackdogEG.com and the slogan "Got Credit?" Blackdog is attempting to gain business by misrepresenting itself and offering players the ability to bet without deposits. This scam usually ends with bettors being unable to collect winnings, often after already having paid the book for previous losing weeks.
5Dimes users will receive a warning message from customer service by email with the following statement:
It has come to our attention that another sportsbook has been soliciting customers claiming to be associated with 5Dimes. 5Dimes is NOT associated or partnered with any other offshore sportsbook. Any company stating they are working with 5Dimes in any manner is a fraudulent scam trying to steal player's money using the 5Dimes good name. There is only ONE 5Dimes. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please contact 5Dimes customer service.

SCAM ALERT: Blackdog Sportsbook offering credit line to BetRoyal (SBR rating D+) users.
SBR has received reports from bettors that have been solicited from new Costa Rican
sportsbook,
BlackdogEG.com and offered to wager on credit. A former BetRoyal employee is representing the book, calling and emailing players he previously serviced. This is an extremely risky proposition for the player as well as bookmaker and is considered a reckless way of bringing in action. SBR has received many complaints from players who have been scammed as a result of similar offers. SBR can rarely assist in these situations which are usually based on hearsay verbal agreements.
Player: i recieved an email from a steven p***** said he used to be at betroyal said he is at a new spot that lets you play on credit players pay when they are 25 %loser over thier line and credit and can withdraw when 25% winner , and they can even have some one meet for payoffs, im sure this is a rippoff so thought you might want to check it out,to inform people im sure im not the only one they contacted. thier # is 1 800 583 8524, thanks
