Scam Alert: Bet911 operating as BetUSASports
Bet911 (SBR rating F)
has opened a new domain, BetUSASports, attempting to lure in depositors for football season. Bet911 was downgraded to F on May 6th by SBR after its admission that it could not pay players and that the sportsbook would search for a buyer. Even following the public acknowledgement of insolvency, Bet911 continued to update its signup bonus structure hoping to bring in new deposits. Bet911 player continued to place wagers
A Bet911 (SBR rating F) player who was unaware that the sportsbook announced it could no longer pay winners continued to place wagers up until June 22nd. Bet911 accepted the wagers despite its acknowledgment that the sportsbook would close and look for new ownership to pay player balances via an industry bailout. It was recently reported that BetPhoenix (SBR rating B+) took over at least one player's balance and instituted a 10X rollover as a good faith gesture. Many of Bet911's players already have accounts at most sportsbooks - this has effected their efforts to peddle their players to a larger sportsbook.

Bet911 player:
If only I had read your site more regularly I would have known there was a problem with them. I had about £4,500 with them and until Tuesday 22nd June they were still accepting bets. Do you think I can wave goodbye to that money or is there any route I can take to try and retrieve it?

Bet911 announces it is broke and unable to give players their funds
Bet911 (SBR rating F) has announced that their sportsbook is insolvent, and cannot pay winners their balances. Bet911 was the subject of a May 3rd report regarding Moneybookers slow-pay complaints. Moneybookers addressed the report by stating that Bet911 had no money in its merchant account. Bet911 claimed initially on April 29th that fraudulent transactions had taken place from Moneybookers users, and that an internal investigation needed to be completed before payouts could be processed. Today Bet911 retracted that remark by issuing the following statement to players at SBRforum:

Bet911 Robert:
Bet911 has no funds to pay our players at this time. I want everyone to know that we are doing our best to relocate all of Bet911 players with another book that will honor all the funds you have in your accounts and the withdraws that you are all requesting. We have no funds cause you the players have beaten us. It is that easy. We are honorable and are trying to either sell the book or find some partners that will back us up with funds. My estimated date for resolvement of this issue is the 21 of May to the end of May. Yes there is a chance that we may not find anyone, but I am trying my best and I will keep you all updated as to what is happening when something does happen.

Bet911 has been downgraded to F. SBR is aware of at least one sportsbook looking at the possibility of taking over player balances. Bet911 has a higher than average amount of sharp players that make the acquisition undesirable to most potential suiters. Bet911 has been attempting to partner or sell to another sportsbook for at least the past year. Bet911 offered too-good-to-be-true bonuses in conjunction with reduced juice pricing; a very risky model especially for a sportsbook that has to balance its own costs and processing without the help of a white label host. | SBRforum: Bet911 admits to stealing funds

Moneybookers addresses Bet911 complaints
On April 28th, SBR received complaints that Bet911 (SBR rating C-) was not paying players out via Moneybookers. After one day, Bet911 addressed the reports by claiming that multiple fraudulent transactions were made by their players using the Moneybookers system. Bet911 initially vowed to pay players out via alternate methods, such as by check, before back-tracking and declaring that no player who requested a Moneybookers withdrawal would be paid prior to completion of an internal investigation. Despite this statement, hours earlier the player from SBR's April 29th newswire reported payment. Bet911 has not returned any of SBR's communication since April 29th. Additionally, Moneybookers has taken issue with Bet911's stance concerning why players were not being paid out via Moneybookers. Moneybookers has stated to SBR that Bet911 has insufficient funds to complete their payments to customers. SBR has lowered Bet911's rating to C-.

Moneybookers:
The customers didn’t receive their payouts from Bet911.com because they don’t have the funds to complete their payouts. If you have any questions on this please let me know.

Bet911 payment complaint
A Bet911 (SBR rating C) payment complaint has been received. On April 19th a player requested a $1500 withdrawal to his Neteller account. On April 26th Bet911 informed the player both Neteller and Moneybookers were unavailable for payment, and he would have to instead accept a check withdrawal. SBR is asking that Bet911 remove eWallet offerings as withdrawal options from its website whilst players are unable to use these methods. On April 29th, SBR reported that Bet911 was conducting an "internal investigation" on all Moneybookers accounts after receiving five allegedly fraudulent transactions.

Bet911 addresses Moneybookers complaints
Bet911 (SBR rating C)
has addressed the Moneybookers complaints reported on April 28th. Bet911 has claimed that 5 unrelated players allegedly made fraudulent Moneybookers transactions to and from Bet911, and as a result the decision was made to remove Moneybookers as a withdrawal option pending the outcome of an internal investigation. All players are being offered to receive check payments in place of Moneybookers. SBR is asking that Bet911 not impose any additional withdrawal fees should players be forced to receive checks while Moneybookers is unavailable.

Bet911:
Bet911 has determined that all moneybookers depositors will not be given a withdraw of any kind until they have been approved by our investigations department through an internal investigation that they are no longer a risk of any type to Bet911 in any sort of way. Once your account has been a been approved your current withdraw will be processed in a fast and timely matter. Until then all withdraws to any moneybooker depositor will be on hold. Also it has been determined that moneybookers will no longer be used as a form of withdraw even if your account has been approved until all accounts have been investigated. Once your account has been approved by the investigations department you will be allowed to receive a withdraw via check. Any one that has not deposited through moneybookers is free to put in a withdraw request at this time via check or money gram.

Bet911 Moneybookers complaints
Three Bet911 (SBR rating C) Moneybookers complaints have been received. Player 1 requested a withdrawal of £615 on April 19th and was informed that Bet911 had no funds in Moneybookers despite it being listed as a valid payment option on the Bet911 website. Players 2 and 3 requested Moneybookers payouts on April 23rd & 27th respectively and were informed that there were fraud issues with Moneybookers and that the Bet911 Moneybookers account was allegedly compromised. All players were offered to receive checks instead until Moneybookers access is restored. SBR is investigating the complaints.

Bet911 canceled bet update
Bet911 (SBR rating C-) has decided to honor the players wager from SBR's March 2nd report. Although Bet911 canceled the bet between Roda JC and Hercales minutes before the game began, after internal review it was realized that the line of +115 was not bad but instead a fair market number which later moved. Bet911 was late in reacting to the market change and has thus decided to credit the player the winnings for the play.

Bet911 cancels soccer bet citing bad line
On February 19th a Bet911 (SBR rating C-) player wagered on a Holland soccer match between Eredivisie Roda JC and Hercales. The player bet on Roda JC at +115. Seven minutes prior to the game beginning, Bet911 canceled the play. SBR has confirmed that other sportsbooks, including BetCris (SBR rating A+) opened at +115 before closing at -110. While the wager was voided before the game and cannot be settled, SBR will still speak to Bet911 on the case as they should not penalize players for their oddsmaker being slow to update their offerings - when the line was posted at Bet911 it was inline with the rest of the market.

Bet911 bonus complaint received; player has not met average activity wagers
Bet911 (SBR rating C-)
uses activity day credits to count toward a players rollover in addition to the standard X time rollover. In a complaint filed with SBR on February 9th, a player complains that the unusual rule was not brought to his attention at the time the bonus was accepted. Bet911's rule on activity wagers states the following:

In regards to the days of activity a player must again wager what he would normally wager on a bet in order for it to count as an activity day credit. If the player normally plays 100 dollar wager and wants a withdraw but still has activity days left he must still wager that 100 a day to get credit for it. He can not bet less than that for it to count as an activity day. The rule is not in place to prevent dormancy but instead to prevent a player from hitting a few larger wagers and then lowering his bet amount to complete rollover. At the time of your request for a withdraw your average wager will be figured out by taking the amount that you have wagered and dividing it by the number of wagers that you have placed. If it looks that you intentionally bet smaller wagers to lower your average wager these bets will not be considered when it comes time to figure your average wager for an activity day but they will be figured in on your rollover.

On December 4th the bettor deposited €475 and received a 30% cash bonus. The bonus was accompanied by a 9X rollover of deposit and bonus amount. On December 27th the 9X rollover was completed. The players balance at this time was €6500. At this time the player made a withdrawal request which was canceled by Bet911 due to 30 days of activity wagers not being met. In this case, Bet911 asks the player to bet an additional €467 for 21 more days before being able to cashout his winnings. SBR's position is that non-industry standard bonus terms must be presented clearly to a player at the time the bonus is accepted to avoid confusion.
2/2/2010 09:31 AM
Bet911 enforces non-industry standard bonus requirement
Bet911 (SBR rating C-) has enforced a non-industry standard bonus rule. A player funded his Bet911 account with $400 on January 12th. He accepted a 30% cash bonus which carried a 5X rollover. Although the player has completed his rollover after nearly three weeks of play, Bet911 is requiring the player to wager exactly $404 for 10 more days to fulfill his "activity days wager". Bet911 has a rule that requires players to fulfill a specified number of activity day wagers for each promotion. The rule is not in place to prevent dormancy but instead to prevent a player from hitting a few larger wagers and then lowering his bet amount to complete rollover. It is not clear by reading the Bet911 fineprint exactly how the average activity wager figure is reached.

Bet911 T&C:
In regards to the days of activity a player must again wager what he would normally wager on a bet in order for it to count as an activity day credit. If the player normally plays 100 dollar wager and wants a withdraw but still has activity days left he must still wager that 100 a day to get credit for it. He can not bet less than that for it to count as an activity day.

Bet911 has claimed the player agreed to completing 15 activity day wagers prior to accepting the promotion. SBR will address the complaint with Bet911 and ask for a clearer breakdown of what constitutes an activity day wager. If rules are non-industry standard, they must be clear and specifically brought to a players attention. Non-standard rules cannot be buried in the fineprint of the terms and conditions page.

Bet911 (SBR rating C-)
has agreed to pay the player from SBR's 1/16 report all winnings. The player was considered to be non-recreational and ineligible to receive bonus incentives. After a placing a few wagers the player was quickly limited. He was informed that if he did not wish to fulfill his rollover with his new limits he could forgo his bonus and 25% of winnings. SBR has spoken to Bet911 about this policy being non-industry standard. Bet911 has agreed to adjust its terms & conditions to reflect an updated policy with regard to bonus management. | View initial Bet911 report

Bet911 player submits bonus complaint
A Bet911 (SBR rating C-) player has submitted a bonus complaint. The player deposited £500 for a 25% reload bonus promotion. After winning his first few wagers, the player was limited to £5 max wagers across the board. Bet911 is asking that the player forgo his bonus and 25% of his winnings should he not wish to attempt to fulfill his rollover at such paltry limits. SBR will address this complaint with Bet911 and make the point that if the sportsbook does not want the player's action and will refuse to grant fair limits to allow the player to complete the rollover, that he is allowed to cash out and only give up a prorated portion of his bonus itself - not winnings derived from the bonus. SBR will update this report.

Bet911 stands by decision to retroactively change agreed upon bonus terms
On 1/12, SBR reported that Bet911 (SBR rating C-) declined to process the withdrawal request of a player citing that he had not fulfilled his rollover request. Through discussion with the player and Bet911, SBR discovered that the player wagered "six-packs", or daily perks, in his process of completing rollover. At the time the bonus was accepted from then manager Carl, the wagers were counted as eligible play. Bet911 has conceded that it never updated its website after November 1st when it states that the decision was made to discontinue counting the daily perk wagers toward the initial bonus promotion, but feels within its right to do so as the terms of service grant the sportsbook total control to change any offering without prior notice. Many sportsbooks have such rules in-print, yet the application of the rule in this instance is unfair to the player. SBR has asked Bet911 to reconsider its decision and to honor the agreed upon bonus terms.

Bet911 bonus complaint received
A Bet911 (SBR rating C-) bonus complaint has been filed. A player details depositing $1,000 on October 10th for a promotion which was accompanied by a 6 time rollover. The player states that six-packs, or wagers which one makes five bets on the American football, or soccer market and in return receives a $25 free bet, were included toward the rollover fulfillment at the time. The player placed £7200 in action before making a withdrawal request. Bet911 has declined the player's first request citing that as of November 1st six-pack wagers no longer counted toward the accepted promotion. The player resubmitted the withdrawal and it was accepted then paid. Bet911 has stated the player was paid out in error, and has declined the player's second withdrawal request. SBR will speak to Bet911 to establish whether or not the rollover terms were changed retroactively.

Beware of Bet911 (SBR rating D-) offers
The slow-paying sportsbook is offering 30% cash bonuses along with other discount offerings such -105 reduced juice specials and free half point Tuesdays. Players should avoid all questionable and unproven sportsbooks, especially those marketing overly generous promotions this time of year. As football comes to a close many players will be requesting payouts and testing the financial strength of these sportsbooks. Many sportsbooks will market these offers irresponsibly, knowing that if the ball does not bounce in their favor, players will not be paid. Bet911 has already shown they can not fulfill payout requests of large winners.

Bet911 (SBR rating D-) $10,000 winner reported initial success with a $1,000 installment plan that began in October, but the sportsbook failed to pay over the last month. The player first complained in June that Bet911 was unable to pay $10,000 without explanation. Owed 911 players are concerned that their chances to be paid will end with along with the busiest part of the year, football season.
Player: My contact does keep me informed. Apparently, money is tight. simple as that. At the moment i am hoping payments will begin again soon.

The sportsbook was downgraded to D- earlier this month after two players filed new payout complaints. Bet911 shows signs of trying to survive until it can obtain funds from new players at the start of football season. Like USDbet (SBR rating F), the small sportsbook's marketing efforts were directed to players on posting forums. Bet911 advertisement banners currently promote a 100% bonus.

Player: I currently have over $10000 in my account with them (account xxxxxx same e mail). I have been a customer for several years but this seems to count for nothing. I send e mail requests asking for a breakdown of how and when I will get paid which either remain unanswered or get misdirected within Bet911 (apparently). If they do reply it is never to my question but offering me the 'opportunity' to request a payout. Woi I'm so honoured. Their 'opportunities' have resulted in me receiving only $2000 in the last four months.

The sportsbook has not responded to player an SBR requests for a promised payment of $1,750. A second player reports a 3.5 week $740 slow-pay. Bet911 last responded to SBR and assured payment in March. Bettors are reminded to avoid small unproven sportsbooks that may be attempting to hold on until they can begin collecting deposits from new football bettors. In January of 2008 Bet911 agreed to pay a player $1,750 that was confiscated in June of 2007. Both the player and SBR have contacted Bet911 management about the promised payout since. 911 initially blamed the delay on miscommunication regarding which payout method would be used. Recent inquiries have not been returned.

SBR report January 12, 2008: Bet911 management has agreed to pay a player $1,750 originally withheld because the account was one of two that wagered from the same location. The player argued that Bet911 was alerted ahead of time through email that his friend worked with him and was given a referral bonus.
