Sportsbook Scam alert: BetOnline247 not paying bettors

By: | Sunday, May 8, 2011

Four new BetOnline247 (SBR rating D-) payment complaints have been reported. BetOnline247 is now slow-paying more than 45 players over €50,000. | BetOnline247 scam report

On April 16th, BetOnline247 was listed in the top five sportsbooks to avoid list. The online scam shop claims to operate out of San Pedro, Costa Rica, though their business model specifically targets European customers—not US bettors—unlike most gaming establishments in Costa Rica.

BetOnline247 likely selected Costa Rica as the place to setup shop as the rogue outfit would not be permitted to run in licensed gaming jurisdictions.

BetOnline247 players: I have asked a withdrawal of €1719 (on) the 22th of january 2011. Tons of email exchanged but I still haven't received any funds from them!

Betonline24/7 still owe me 15000 euro. I have had no contact with their support staff for almost 2 weeks, how are they allowed to hold on to my money for this long? They should be shut down!

I can no loger access my account. They have said they will payout my winning via moneybookers, but it has now been65 days and still no payment.
