A Sports-1 (SBR rating C) player states that a $1,500 Neteller payout requested on April 24th has not yet been processed. The player is being offered half the funds through an alternate payout method. A Sports-1 live chat representative informed the player that the replacement method would carry a $70 fee.
SBR notes that while it is not uncommon for sportsbooks to offer players alternate methods when their preferred option is unavailable, SBR expects the sportsbook to offer the player the payout at the same cost of the unavailable method.
In this case, the player deposited via Neteller but is currently unable to be paid the same way in a timely fashion. He is forced to choose between continuing to wait out the payment time-frame or opting for another option with a high fee. It would essentially cost the player approximately $140 to withdraw his balance.
SBR will follow up with Sports-1 to ask for the fees to be waived on the replacement payout.
