A Betsafe (SBR rating C+) player submits an account complaint. The player deposited €50 for a 50% bonus. The promotion required €300 to be wagered before a withdrawal was possible. The player states that after his first wager, his limits were immediately slashed to 1% of regular bet limits, essentially lowering him to less than $3 per wager.
The player states that support indicated house rules allowed for every resident of a certain country to automatically receive different wagering limits. The player is unable to cashout his balance due to the outstanding rollover obligations. The player notes his only option would be to forgo his first bet winnings as well as the bonus in order to receive his deposit.
Betsafe player: "I recently opened an account at Betsafe.I signed up there deposit €50 to get 50% bonus, therefore I must place a total of €300 at evens or higher. But after my first bet, which I won, they immediatly limit me to 1% of the normal bet limit. After contacting the live-chat, the support agent told me that it was just conform the terms, because there is a rule that they can limit every player from (country where I live in), so there was nothing to say against it. The problem is that I can't withdraw (because of the bonus) and if I want to I must give up my winnings and bonus, if I want to clear my bonus I must place bets of €1,50-€3, that's not acceptable to me."
