A BetClic (SBR rating D+) player has filed a sportsbook complaint. The player signed up, made a €20 parlay and increased his balance to €1,322. Intending to cash out his funds, the player provided a form of ID to BetClic via email. BetClic called the player two days after receiving the ID to question him regarding his winning parlay.
The player tells SBR that a member of BetClic.com support phoned him unexpectedly and asked him to explain the wager he placed. The player claims the question caught him off guard and he responded defensively. As a result, BetClic terminated the call and shortly thereafter sent an email stating that accounts opened or controlled by third parties would not be eligible for any winnings.
This is the second outstanding dispute against BetClic Sportsbook. On July 31st, SBR reported that a BetClic user had €1,600 confiscated on the groudns of operating multiple accounts. The player denied the charge, and BetClic was unable to share any proof to support the balance forfeiture.
SBR is attempting to reach BetClic management for comment on both disputes.
