UPDATE: BTG Global management has addressed this dispute. BTG has clarified that the player's statement of having limits from $22-$82.50 is false. The player was limited after being profiled as a non-recreational bettor, and given the following limits: $200 for NBA straight, $100 ML & total, as well as $75 NCAAB straight, $50 ML & total. BTG states the player is 21% of the way through his current rollover, and is able to continue playing or accept a prorated portion of his bonus winnings.
A WagerUp (SBR rating C) player writes in with a bonus dispute. The player deposited $200 and received a 100% (30x RO) cash bonus. The player claims his first wager was a winning two-team parlay. The player also claims that WagerUp lowered his limits to $30 for parlays and between $22-$82.50 for straight bets. The player still must meet almost $9,500 in rollover with these revised limits. The player asks that he either receive a refund of his deposit + all winnings derived from the bonus, or that WagerUp restore reasonable account limits. SBR is following up on this sportsbook complaint.
WagerUp.eu is part of the BTG Global gaming family. BTG Global N.V. is licensed in Curacao and powers sportsbooks Dimeline (SBR rating C), VIP Sports.eu (SBR rating C), as well as SafariCasino and BetTheGlobe. WagerUp was assessed with an initial rating of C on February 11th, 2012.

VIPsports.eu (SBR rating C), which runs on the BTG Gaming platform along with SafariCasino (SBR rating D+) and Dimeline (SBR rating C), canceled a players pending wager. The game had not yet started. VIP implied that their software did not or was not able to properly enforce limits. The player states that because of their error he missed out on his winning play. SBR will seek comment from management.
VIPsports.eu: "Your wager on the hockey wager was cancelled. It exceeded our hockey limits for your account level. Also this game was a steam play and if you are here to bet those wagers your account will be closed.
Management"
VIPSports.eu is run by a former
VIP Sports (SBR rating B-) manager in possession of a customer database. The copycat branding is an attempt to capitalize on VIP Sports' industry reputation. Another group of former VIP management and marketing personnel also launched a startup brand after the company closure—
GTBets.com (SBR rating C)—and are in possession of the original software, while VIPSports.eu is powered by the BTG Gaming software.

VIPSports.eu (SBR rating C) is still making deceptive sales pitches to former clients of the now defunct VIP Sports (SBR rating B-) family. VIPSports.eu is distributing emails suggesting that it is the same as the terminated VIP Sports operation. It is important for players to realize that the original VIP Sports is not back - former marketing personnel are attempting to capitalize on the brand's name by releasing targeted emails to former VIP Sports and Nine.com (SBR rating B-) customers. VipSports.eu is hosted on a different wagering platform, in a different country, with different financial backing and ownership. Players should approach the new VIPSports.eu as an unknown quantity and proceed with caution as with all start-up sportsbook companies.
On November 3rd, 2011, SBR reported that VipSports.eu is the latest licensee of the Safari Casino Group. Safari provides VipSports.eu with wagering software, hosting and processors in exchange for a monthly royalty. Safari Casino Group is most known for powering Dimeline Sportsbook (SBR rating C), BetTheGlobe (SBR rating D+), and Safari Casino (SBR rating D+). | VIPSports.eu email to players

08.30.2008 (11:15 PM CST)Scammed sportsbook webmasters leave Futurebet; open new operation
In the fall of 2007 Futurebet-hosted sportsbooks
began to realize that player deposited funds, bookmaking profits, as well as money on hand for withdrawals were stolen by the provider. Futurebet, now calling itself
iGaming Software, claimed it was broke and could not pay its books or their players. Some of the Futurebet brands like
USDbet (SBR rating F) and
Monkeybet (SBR rating F) stiffed users and abandoned their sites. Others absorbed losses and attempted to stay in business, doing their own processing.
SafariCasino (SBR rating D) and
Dimeline Sports (SBR rating D) are two books that sustained hits by their business partner, continued to use Futurebet's software and hosting while using internal processing resources. The two books left Futurebet this past week, setting up new servers and their own software in Curacao. SBR will speak with ownership and reevaluate the new gaming group in early September.
The list of gaming sites to join the group include:
dimelinesports.com
safaricasino.com
bettheglobe.com
bettingchamps.com
kingdomcasino.com
palladiumcasino.com
tropicalislandcasino.com

11.21.2007 (07:03 PM CST)SafariCasino SafariCasino, MayanCasino & BetTheGlobe raised from F to D
11.21.2007 (07:03 PM CST)BetTheGlobe SafariCasino, MayanCasino & BetTheGlobe raised from F to D
11.21.2007 (06:24 PM CST)SafariCasino, MayanSports and BetTheGlobe upgraded from F to D. The books' owner reports paying all players with privately held funds due to Futurebet's unwillingness to pay. Futurebet is withholding its licensee's funds while refusing to pay its users. Some Futurebet sportsbooks have closed down while others are attempting to work out deals to move player balances to other sportsbook operations, like
Linesmaker.co.uk (SBR rating D+) has done. SBR expects only Futurebet-owned
SportsbookUSA (SBR rating F) and
new Futurebet partners BetOnUSA (SBR rating D-) &
Oddsmaker (SBR rating D-) players to receive payments from the Futurebet cashier. Players should avoid these scam books which have proven they are not opposed to stealing funds.
