RebateWager (SBR rating B) will no longer accept new users. Management tells SBR the move will allow the sportsbook to focus on its active business. Existing RebateWager customers have historically reported positive feedback on customer service and payment time. RebateWager's unique offering was to give large rebates on losing wagers per week for players choosing the cash-back account setting. RebateWager tells SBR that the player registration change aside, it is business as usual.

RebateWager (SBR rating B-) has updated its rules page with clearer terms on open parlays and teasers, following the October 28th dispute which culminated in RebateWager paying a player for the first three legs of a four-leg teaser that was placed outside of the allowed time-frame.
RebateWager rule: "Open parlays and teasers must be closed in the same calendar week that
they are opened. Failure to do so will result in the wager being scored
as a loss. You cannot bet opposite sides of the same game in an open
parlay if you have a pending parlay involving that game."

RebateWager (SBR rating B-) has paid the player whose winning open teaser was graded as a loss. RebateWager's posted rule on open teasers is that all teaser legs must be filled within one week. However, RebateWager has stated its standard procedure is to honor all accepted wagers and legs of open teasers. RebateWager paid the first three legs of the teaser which were placed in the allowed time-frame. The book cites multiple warnings to this player as for honoring only the teaser legs within the 1 week stated period. | View initial report

RebateWager (SBR rating B-) has allegedly nullified a winning teaser wager. A player bet a $500 4-team "open teaser," a teaser that allows the bettor to fill legs of his teaser after the commitment to the teaser wager is made. The first two selections were placed on Sunday October 18th. The final two selections were placed the following Sunday October 25th, with the fourth pick being the Monday Night Football game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins. The player won all four legs. RebateWager debited the account $2,000 citing a rule that stated all open slots of this teaser must be placed within one week. SBR will inquire with RebateWager about where the rule exists and their position on the dispute.

RebateWager earned its second upgrade in 2009. The sportsbook continues to seek feedback from players and SBR and has no pending or unresolved complaints. RebateWager first opened its post-up operation under the Blackdog name in 2007. After a rocky introduction by its sales department, management has provided industry references and has been transparent with SBR inquiries. SBRforum poster feedback has also been positive. Players should be aware that SBR still considers RebateWager a relatively new sportsbook and advises online sport bettors use books rated B+ or higher.
