I have to question the financial stability of this sportsbook. I realize that is the

WORST thing you can say about a book, but there is just too much smoke

here to not suspect something has caught fire.

Recently, I wanted to transfer $10K from my WSEX account to my

Matchbook account. Although they are sister sites (same ownership

group), they told me that there was a $5K per seven days transfer

maximum and that the fee was $50 per transfer. Well, a week later they had

changed their policy to a $2,500 maximum transfer, still with the hefty $50 fee.

That's a 2% hit just to move funds to their own sister site!

They would not tell me when the rule had been changed, which made the

whole thing seem a little shady. Getting paid by check is even worse, as they

take months to pay out. Don't believe their withdrawal method descriptions

found on their website. The time frames indicated are a bunch of lies (although

the onerous fees are all too real).

Their lines are not competitive with those of books such as Pinnacle, 5Dimes,

Olympic or Matchbook.

Definitely read up on WSEX on the forums here at SBR before depositing your

money with this struggling company.

Finally, I want to say that although WSEX has been recently downgraded a couple

of times by SBR, they need to be downgraded further. No way do they deserve a B

rating! Just take a look at what the players have been saying...

Comments: Up until my payout problem, I had no issues with WSEX.  Their lines were always better than other sites and the site was easy to use.

Comments: Be watchful for technical difficulties, customer service will use this to their advantage. Especially in "live Betting" If you can't log in, you can't buy or sell shares!

I made my firts 2 bets on my favorite team (500$ and 500$) and they just cancelled the 2 bets. I made a phone call to them and after waiting 20 minutes (international call) and speaking with 3 persons they say: Look at the regulations: "When a line is put up in obvious error due to a typographical mistake by the book, any customer wagers entered to take advantage of the error will be cancelled. Obvious errors include when the wrong team is put up as the favorite or when a point spread, total, or money line is off by a significant amount. " It was a wrong line, sorry but we cancelled it. They just can do this?!? (I can email a print-screen)

 

Every sportsbook reserves the right to cancel a wager due to a bad line error.  If you see a line which is clearly off, you should call and speak to line manager (don't ask the clerk) and ask if the line is good.

Comments: Been with them for years - never missed a payout. Site is incredibly user friendly. Interactive gaming is second to none! Many deposit/payout options. Lines are fair. Cover ALL sports and events.

Comments: I really like this book. Their payout is faster any books I know of. Takes less than 10 minutes. I like the way they have free neteller withdraw every 10 days.

Comments: I just lost $8000.00 playing blackjack in 30 minutes. IMO not a solid and fair casino program

Comments: Have enjoyed WSEX for some time now, easy payout, good operators. Once I clicked a wrong bet 4X my normal size, called right away and after some mild scoulding cancelled my bet. Easy site to use. GL CT
