After a successful Week 6 of prop betting we crapped out on Thursday to start off Week 7. However, I am ready to right those wrongs here on Sunday with a few more winners that you need to add to your NFL Picks this week.
NFL Season Props Record: 44-34-2
Mike Evans O/U 80.5 receiving yards
With Vincent Jackson out for the season, Mike Evans might be the most targeted receiver in the NFL not named Julio Jones or Antonio Brown over the next 10 weeks. Evans is going up against the 49ers this week and while they haven't given up a ton of yards through the air, they have already allowed 10 touchdowns to opposing receivers this season, which is the second most of any team so far.
Evans has already been targeted 55 times in his last four games, going for 89 yards against the Panthers last week. If Jameis Winston can reliably get him the ball against this weaker than expected 49ers secondary, Evans should have no problem getting 81 or more yards in this one.
The last four games bring the biggest evidence of that and Jackson was healthy for some of those. Evans is averaging only six yards per target (14 yards per catch) in his last four games, but assuming he gets his normal 12 to 15 targets in Week 7, the over should once again be a value.
The 49ers limited Arizona and Buffalo's receivers over the last two weeks, but they have still been giving up touchdowns, so all it takes is one blown assignment and Evans could catch a 50-yard bomb from Winston.
