We tripped up last week with our only solid NFL Pick coming on Ben Roethlisberger’s easy under on his passing yards total. I should have played some more 'unders', but now in the Divisional Round, it’s hard to pass up some of these props
NFL Regular Season Props Record: 75-64-3
NFL Playoff Props Record: 1-2
Please note that all these props can be found at BetOnline
Jimmy Graham O/U 54.5 receiving yards
Jimmy Graham was seldom used last week in the Seahawks' dominant victory over the Lions and even though the Falcons are favored there is a heavy bit of the handicapping community that like the Seahawks to roll over Atlanta.
If you're in that side of things, this is the play for you. The Seahawks' have a dominant defense, but part of their defensive strategy will be to run the crap out of the ball. Beating this Falcons team comes down to keeping Matt Ryan and the offense off the field. If they are successful in that, it will likely mean that Graham is once again only afforded three or four targets.
Plus, Graham has been pretty inconsistent this season and in the playoffs over the last seveal years. Only twice has he had more than 44 yards receiving in the playoffs and both came in 2011. Since then 44 yards is the most he has posted in a playoff game and that was with the Saints.
In a game that might be a run-fest on both sides of the ball, I see Graham falling under his yards total.
Free NFL Pick: UNDER 54.5 (-115)
Ezekiel Elliott O/U 102.5 rushing yards
I really hope you Cowboy fans are prepared to lose. Even though Dallas could easily win this game, the week off hurt this team more than it helped them. Now they face the hottest team on the planet and a Super Bowl winning quarterback that is going to slice up that defense.
In the end this one might be a shootout and that will limit Ezekiel Elliott's rushing attempts. The Packers' rushing defense is actually pretty solid at times and while their passing defense is not so good, that will also hurt Elliott's rushing attempts.
If the Packers jump out to an early lead and force Dak Prescott to beat them, it too could hurt Elliott if they get down far enough. The game being in Dallas is going to help, but the Packers are going to key in on Elliott. His raw talent and the Dallas o-line will get him a lot of yards in this one, but it won't be over 100.
