We’re nearing the midway point of the 2016-17 NBA regular season, and so far form has held at the top. Let's take a look at the updated futures odds for the NBA championship from the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.

Cream Of The Crop Still On Top

The 2016-17 NBA regular season will reach the NBA All-Star Break in four weeks (game is Feb. 19 in New Orleans), so let's take a look at some fresh futures numbers from over at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.

Kevin Durant and Golden State (-150 to win 2016/17 NBA Championship) remain the oddsmakers' favorites with the LeBron James and the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers second at +175 to repeat this summer. And much like last season, Kawhi Leonard and the San Antonio Spurs (+650 to win NBA Championship) are the only other team with odds of less than 25/1 to win it all, meaning that we could very well be looking at a repeat of last year's NBA Championship Series.

Along with the talented Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers (7-1 L8 ATS), who was his biggest Power Rating riser, professional handicapper Ted Sevransky said on Wednesday's SportsBIT that one team worth an upgrade is the Mavericks (2500/1 to win Western Conference), saying, “Dallas has money-making potential.”

The SuperBook also has a special prop bet up pitting the Warriors (-140) against the rest of the NBA (Field, +120), but bettor beware there as the likely East champion the Cavaliers are priced at +175 and will more than likely represent the conference again in the NBA Finals come June.

Here are your updated NBA Finals and conference odds with the opening odds from way back on May 29, 2016, in parentheses.
