Portland Trail Blazers vs San Antonio Spurs - NBA Picks Of The Day

Spurs player Kawhi Leonard in action

The Blazers’ Damian Lillard is doubtful for Friday and that spells bad news against the Spurs in San Antonio. The Spurs have already blown out the Blazers once in Portland with Lillard and now in San Antonio with Lillard probably out, it’s going to be a bloodbath tonight.

Blazers vs. Spurs

The Blazers are probably going to be without their starting point guard, Damian Lillard once again and with Kawhi Leonard looking like he will return after a one game illness absence, this one could get ugly real quickly.

All the Blazers have on offense for this one is C.J. McCollum. Allen Crabbe and some others have stepped up nicely without Lillard, but this is an extremely tough opponent on the road, two big roadblocks for the Blazers in this one.

Without Lillard on the floor, the Blazers' offensive scores only 104.7 points per 100 possessions, opposed to 112.1 with him on the court. Plus, even with Lillard, the Blazers have been horrible at covering spreads on the road at 6-12 ATS.

The Spurs smashed the Blazers on the Friday before Christmas in Portland when Lillard was healthy and now with Lillard doubtful, I don't see any other scenario other than another blowout win for the Spurs.
